The Summit Bid.

The core trusted Mindhive platform is built.
1 The space to interact
2 Recommendation engine
3 Network value
However, Mindhive's Web 2.0 version is just the building block to the future.
Mindhive's future state is Mindhive 3.0. It will facilitate the space to interact, build on its recommendation engine, and create an exponential network value and transaction token. We believe Mindhive 3.0 will facilitate an entire world to participate collaboratively and ultimately create even more ways to unlock creators' true potential.
With investment, Mindhive will envision the game theory and build a game strategy around it, then build out our token economics model – to value the network and its transactions. Once Mindhive can essentially log every iteration, version, branch fork and their trust in that system – they will naturally create, capture, and distribute.
Mindhive allows every problem solver to stake the Mindhive token to move toward a "solving for anything" platform.

By connecting human and artificial intelligence, Mindhive is an increasingly smarter and more scalable platform over time. AI has materially improved the efficiency and accuracy of the matchmaking process between enterprises and internal and external experts - augmenting and improve the team at all skill levels. A form of collaborative intelligence. The best of human intelligence and machines working together.
Mindhive has incrementally scaled hundreds of enterprises, insightful teams, over time. Mindhive is developing novel methodologies for testing predictive insight experiments. The most effective workflow processes and data capture layers to produce automated AI/ML-driven insight generation are in the market.
Mindhive is developing and implementing the following technologies:
Novel AI algorithms to convert dialogue into insight based on machine learning’s automatic summarisation generation. In-house natural language processing (NLP) algorithms will be designed for keyword extraction and sentiment analysis.
Matchmaking algorithm to intuitively detect and automatically match users to discussions across different expertise, skills and other silos.
An SDK (software development kit) to allow for the development of a wider range of challenge generation methodologies. This will allow for a rich methodology ecosystem that gathers insight into which challenge generation methodology is the most robust and versatile.
Gamification of the contribution lifecycle, generating more dialogue and in turn making the AI/ML algorithms more robust in their insight-generation capabilities, ultimately leading to increased participation.
Mindhive continues to offer a unique digital mechanism to connect a network of innovative minds while providing rapid, rewarding insight generation and innovation tools capable of providing all of the following capabilities:
Prediction, Ownership, and Tokenization of Crowd-curated Digital Content
Tools marketplace for new novel approaches of insight analysis and reporting
Rapid insight generation and automation
Internal and external crowdsourcing
Knowledge output through an online academy model
An intelligent platform that can encourage, recognise and reward insight creation, and improve engagement and motivation
Insight tracking from creation to potential commercialisation

2019
In 2019 the Company hired a world-class development team [and partnered with a leading venture and digital design company Josephmark] which has given it the capability to design an ecosystem-style product (internally codenamed ‘Mindhive 2.0’) to fulfil a much larger opportunity.
In 2019, we pivoted away from a Business to Business SAAS model to a Business to Consumer platform. We launched a redesigned (Josephmark) Mindhive 2.0 in June 2019. Mindhive sees a 750% growth in user sessions, a 660% jump in subscriptions and a 1900% increase in inbound interest since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Mindhive 3.0 is already under development and will become a full commercial Enterprise release and be launched to the market by mid-late 2021. The innovative porous border design crafted by Josephmark, responds to market demand for a clean, intuitive space to meaningfully engage with their private networks, while also being part of something bigger and contributing to the greater good. Here’s Mindhive Founder and CEO speaking (2mins) to the vision and impact of Mindhive.
Mindhive attended the inaugural global BOLD Awards held at one of the most impactful innovation hubs in Europe, ‘H-FARM’. At this event, Mindhive CEO Bruce Muirhead received an award for the boldest crowdsourced online platform. This award recognised the innovative nature and potential of the project.
2018
We started to commercialise the solution in 2018 assisted by NAB Readiness Investment Fund (now Ready Growth Grant). Mindhive worked with Minter Ellison and BDO on early the commercialisation strategy. Advance Queensland’s Business Development Fund, Bizzell Capital and a small group of investors have since launched the company via a $2M raise. We have built strong governance and operational team and a large community of cross-disciplinary experts. Recognised by seven national innovation awards, Mindhive as a means to meet a gap in the market and born over ten years of honing common problem-solving methods was born. Given the steady and sustainable historical cash flow generation, the Founders of Mindhive were able to grow the platform. We have been able to accelerate growth in Australia, as well as test its proposition in New Zealand. Mindhive has successfully completed more than 500 challenges, has an expert base of 13,800 and have had over 200 user organisations. Our monthly revenue is steady at approx. $20-30K per month.
We secured a strategic partnership with Austrade and tested out a new product (codenamed MindhivePrivate) to build our discussion activity from 3% to 80%.
Mindhive was launched as a project of the global policy think tank Eidos in 2012. Over the coming years, it would be recognised with numerous national and global awards for its unique capacity to provide inexpensive, modern, inclusionary and efficient innovation - so we can quickly get to good ideas and actionable insights.

2016
Mindhive’s pool of experts grows from 2780 in January 2016 through to 9000 by the end of the year. Eidos secures NAB Readiness Investment Funding to commercialise the Mindhive project and prepare an investment memorandum.
2015
Uptake of clients and website usage continued to grow. Mindhive was again recognised with national awards. The Mindhive project team collaborated closely over this period with the Australian Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Green Templeton College (Oxford University) in the design of the problem-solving methodology.
2014
Eidos launches MindHive the project. The project was recognised with national awards. Pilot partners were involved in a review process to determine the effectiveness of the project’s stated objectives. An analysis of Mindhive’s open innovation methodology, policy-making process and key policy deliverables was undertaken. As ideas developed into concrete policy contributions, pilot partners and expert contributors reviewed the strength of partnerships and the uptake of contributions in government and industry policy processes. This provided the Mindhive project team with valuable data to tweak the open innovation process and improve the delivery of policy outcomes for future challenges. To make sure the website worked, pilot partners and expert contributors had the opportunity to provide feedback on Mindhive’s backbone and user interface. At the end of Mindhive’s foundation year, an informal National and State Pilot Project Review was conducted with pilot partners and policy contributors. Results were collated, with key insights distributed and communicated via the online platform and during round-table discussions with the Eidos’ Board, web developer Wiliam and Eidos’ government, industry and university partners.
2013
Eidos hosted discussions with Secretary of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Australian and South African Vice-Chancellors, Queensland Government and web-design partner Wiliam Pty Ltd around how to create a platform to connect Government challenges with broader expertise.
Eidos reorganises into a social enterprise incubator and commercialises Mindhive into a Pty Ltd company including 9,500 experts and 5 FT/PT staff. Mindhive is seeking to be investment-ready.

Since its inception in 2004, the Eidos Institute (Eidos), and its spin-off Mindhive, have made significant contributions to the development of public policy in Australia. Mindhive was conceived by Eidos as a means to meet a gap in the market. Mindhive was born over ten years of honing collective problem solving via the work of Eidos:
2009
Eidos was granted Australian Tax Office “Approved Research Institution” status and Australian Research Council industry partner recognition. 13 members, 250 researchers, 8 staff, $791k revenues, $215k research development investment.
2006
Eidos incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. 7 members, 100 researchers and 5 staff, $712k revenue, $345k research development investment.
2003
Eidos was a network with 5 fee-paying members (including the QLD State government), 30-40 collaborative researchers and no paid staff, $250k revenue, $250k research development investment. It was governed by a network of member representatives.
2001
Eidos developed from co-op venture – set up as an initiative of the Queensland Government and Vice Chancellors of several Queensland Universities.
It all begins with an idea.
For 14 years, our team of ex-Oxford strategists and policy leaders had been re-thinking the think tank; perfecting engaging, diverse thinking into the most progressive problem-solving. Mindhive - the world’s first collective IQ & ideation platform - is the result. The purpose of the platform was to engage and harness the power of collective problem-solving in order to address our most pressing issues by democratising, simplifying and accelerating innovation across sectors and borders.
Here’s our journey so far.
