Increasing Workforce Participation

For the past twenty years, the labour force participation rate in NSW has been lower than for the rest of Australia.

This trend is true for males and females of every age group. New South Wales Department of the Premier and Cabinet wanted a new way to look at boosting workforce participation.

They wanted to focus on institutional innovation and entrepreneurial solutions – they used Mindhive.

The platform was used to bring together a diverse range of individuals from various sectors across Australia to develop a paper which explored and identified a suite of policies that the NSW government could implement in order to increase the labour participation rate.
