Reducing First Year Crashes

Queensland Treasury used Mindhive to look at ways to reduce the incidences of crashes in the first year of solo driving.

This was a public challenge put out to the entire Hive aimed at generating broad based discussion of a persistent problem.

It focused on eliciting contribution around a series of questions and data sets which illustrated the disproportionate number of crashes recorded by drivers in their first year of driving.

Treasury involved a group of contributors from across the Queensland Government, as well as from industry and academia.
